Quite a number of physicians we interviewed said that they had given antidepressant drugs such as Zoloft, Prozac, and Paxil as a treatment for their male patients with P.E. As a result, these patients did report that their Premature Ejaculation (P.E.) was reduced during sex, but this was only after having taken these drugs for several weeks. Some of the setbacks of using these antidepressant drugs to treat P.E. include that when you stop using the drugs, the P.E. will return, drowsiness, nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and a variety of sexual problems such as decreased or increased sexual interest and other ejaculation or orgasm problems.

It should be noted that men should not use these drugs without a prescription and the direction of their doctors who can determine what amount of these drugs will give the best results to each individual patient.
