According to the manufacturers of Levitra, Bayer, the most common side effects for men taking Levitra are headaches, flushing, stuffy nose, or running nose.
Another rare side effect of Levitra, like the other E.D. drugs is “Priapism”, or a prolonged erection. Bayer indicates that if a man experiences an erection lasting more than four hours, he should seek immediate medical attention since the condition can cause damage to the penis and potentially lead to the inability to have an erection in the future.
Bayer also states that in rare instances, men who have taken Levitra have reported a sudden decrease or loss of vision, or seeing a blue tinge to objects or having difficulty telling the difference between the colors blue and green in objects.
Warnings on the drug label recommend men who take Levitra to contact their physicians if the side effects of the drug continue to bother them.
